Prior to joining ETSU 1989, Associate Professor in the Department of Engineering, Engineering Technology, & Surveying, Bill Hemphill served as an FAA Designated Manufacturing Inspection Representative at Aeronautical Accessories, Inc., a predecessor company to the Bell Helicopter facility in Piney Flats. From that engineering perspective he shared a glimpse into the ongoing Boeing 737-MAX story which has been in the news for the last several months.
